I’m a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Statistics & Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University. I’m interested in applied statistics in physical science, astrostatistics, spatial-temporal statistics, online learning and sequential decision making, and simulation-based inference. My current research mainly focuses on classification and inference challenges associated with astronomical time series in the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST).

Before moving to Pittsburgh, I completed my undergraduate work at University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in Mathematics & Statistics and a minor in Computer Science, where I had a great time working with Prof. Jessi Cisewski-Kehe and Prof. Ke Fang.

I enjoy a few hobbies, including digital and film photography (my Instagram), playing guitar, tennis, table tennis, soccer, sleeping (especially if I haven’t done it for a while), and collecting glassware ;-).
